Tips -
1)First of all i want to tell you that if you score 500 out of 900 You will manage to clear the nda written exam .The cutoff of the exam varies from 400-500 according to the difficulty of the paper . so Score around around 500 marks to clear the written .
2)Topics such as trigonometry (mostly formulaes),Diffrential equation ,simple Integration and differentiation and permutation combinations have the most weightage .Maths ncert is enough for you to clear the nda written .
3) for the general ability part - the english section is relatively easy you can answer 40 out of 50 questions easily if you are an average guy .And for the general knowledge questions i will advice not to unneccessarily answer them until you are confident cause negative marking is there. for Gk i will tell you to read newspaper regularly and please check all the defence excercises and operations which India carries out with other countries ,because most of the times 2or 3 questions are based on it
4)physics and chemistry section is relatively easier ........ncert is enough for you to answer them .
5) SOCIAL SCIENCE SECTION IS A BIT DIFFICULT IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWERS WELL AND GOOD IF YOU DONT THEN LEAVE IT .

ReplyDeleteFirst of all there is no need to worry .You can get through with this score also .It all depends on the paper .If the paper is easy the cutoff will increase and if the paper is the difficult the upsc will decrease the cutoff so dont worry .You also stand the chance of clearing the written .be optimistic .

ReplyDeleteYou will definitely clear the written exam. there is no separate cutoff for GAT or maths .There is a total overall cutoff which you will clear easily .So start preparing for you interview .Best of luck .

ReplyDeletesee from last 3 years the cutoff has been around 300 ....so no doubt it will be around 300 only .however the cutoff also depends on the level of the paper .If the paper was hard the cutoff will go down but if the paper was simple cutoff will rise .so it all depends on the paper .but it would be around 300 thats for sure .Now coming to your ssb preparation ...i will advise you start your "self" preparation ....don't go for institute coaching now ....if you clear the paper join the ssb coaching ,coaching is of 14 days at the institutes so you can easily prepare yourself as the call letter comes after 1 month of result declartation .And lastly why you are taking so much tension ....just chill .....itni tension lega to selection nahi ho payega ......

ReplyDeletethis time the result have shocked many .the nda written cutoff is expected to be around 300 ,when i was giving exams my friend getting even 260 cleared it .And now what i'm hearing is that guys scoring around 420 are not making to ssb interview.This could be either due to number of candidates with level of exam remaining same.But this was not expected .Sorry cause i gave my replies to you based on the earlier cutoff's..

ReplyDeleteYou can't verify with Upsc cause its an autonomous body .You wait for 5-15 days they will post the scores of the written exam.And don't lose hope You are behaving as if this is the end of the world .I tell you my case .I cleared my SSB in the third attempt and after that getting medically rejected. So don't lose hope so early "To give up is the easiest thing in the world ,but to hold it together when everything seems falling apart is the true strength".Your nda 2 exam is near,prepare for it give it your best shot clear this time .

DeleteNow regarding your physical attributes -The SSB guys check your mental stamina not your physical stamina by this i mean that if u have the requisite abilities and qualities other than physical attributes you are bound to clear the ssb for sure and I m not wrong this time .Because IF u have OLQ's (officer like qualities ) you will clear the interview cause it's hard to change your qualities and habits but it is easier to change your physical attributes during the training.So dont worry .However it would be better for you to do some excercises and get in shape before ssb

ReplyDeleteyou will be eligible for the army .But it depends mostly on the doctor who examines you.If you get Allahabad ssb then there the medical board is very strict so it's a matter of luck .
